ILLINOIS INTRASTATE AUTHORITY / ICC MC 

 

To operate point-to-point within the borders of Illinois, you will need to obtain an ICC MC number. This number gives the carrier permission to pick up and drop off loads within Illinois.  ICC MC must be renewed every year by December 31st. To activate this type of authority, Primary Liability & Cargo insurance filings are required. Without the insurance filings, your ICC MC number will be inactive and you will be prohibited to operate under it.

For opening ICC MC authority, corporation documents and FEIN number are required.
